PIPER – the new manager

PIPER is the new kid on the block with a mind for business. Working at the spa, she comes in contact with some of the biggest names in the Nashville music scene. Piper is one of a long line of managers that has tried to tame this group. The staff didn’t trust the others and they don’t trust Piper.  She only got the job because she knows the owner.  The staff doesn’t believe in her abilities or have any confidence that she can run a busy spa, so she has a lot to prove.

CORTLAND is the young clean-up and prep guy of the spa.  He is a part-time underwear model, but his life’s goal is working in a spa. He is definitely the eye candy of the spa, always wearing shirts that show off his body.

Elle is an innocent, naïve young esthetician who is non-judgmental, trusting, and very country – and she makes facials fun!  She moved from a small town in Georgia to go to esthetic school.  She goes out every weekend dancing and hanging out with friends, but come Monday it is all business.  She will try different techniques and experiment different treatments.  Sometimes the experiments lead to disasters and sometimes the treatments lead to great new protocols.

PAM  E  LA is a pushy know-it-all who always has to be the authority on everything.  She is convinced she is the only employee who knows the right way to do things. She doesn’t like to be called Pam or Pammy, it is “Pam-e-la” – get it right, and if you don’t she will correct you.  Aggressive and pushy, she is the queen of manipulation to get what she wants and the clients she wants.  Despite her personality, she is actually good at what she does.  Her clients are loyal to her and the spa puts up with her because of the clients that keep returning.  She is always criticizing the way things are done at the spa with a list that is pages and pages long every day.

SCOUT is the receptionist and “scheduling diva,” and she knows everything that’s going on in everyone’s life in the spa. She has a big personality that is fun and charming, and the clients confide in her with all their troubles and gossip. She can multi-task with the best of them, and is on top of all the daily operations with antidotes to go along with every situation.

NASH is well liked by all the employees.  He is always fashionable and is self-assured and confident in his ability as a therapist, though he is less-so in his personal life.  He is a friend to everyone. Nash enjoys his close knit friends that he has known for years.

SKYE is the Zen Master of massage.  He takes his job to a spiritual level.  In his private life, he is deeply religious.  He is devoted to his family, and works with kids and charities.  His lifelong ambition is to earn enough money to become a holistic physician, and uses his talents with massage to further his education.
