SKYE is the “Zen master” of massage. Deeply spiritual, Skye is devoted to his family and community. His lifelong ambition is to earn enough money to become a holistic physician, and uses his talents with massage to further his education.

Running a successful spa requires much more than giving customers simple massages and facials. It’s like putting on a daily Broadway show. The staff’s ultimate goal is to pamper and relax the client so they may experience an escape from reality for a moment of time. Every client is different, and so each one has unique needs and challenging requirements.

“Rubdown” takes us behind the scenes of the spa business with stories inspired by real life situations. The series also focuses on the staff’s daily trials with one another and the eccentric group of clients that come in for an escape, from music industry celebrities to simple Tennessee rednecks. Behind a seemingly calm façade hides a chaos of hilarity done in grand southern style.
